XDAO Monthly Report #12: May 2023
We are thrilled to inform you about some captivating updates that has happened in the last month, let’s begin:
Development
On May 1st, XDAO V3 was launched with a successful event hosted by the XDAO team, presenting the latest features and upgrades available with XDAO V3. To enhance user experience, we have completely revamped the website’s user interface, making it more user-friendly and comprehensive, particularly for crypto enthusiasts. We’ve optimized loading of data from blockchains and third-party data services.
We have also introduced the subscription model with the release of V3. The model offers a range of subscription plans tailored to meet the evolving needs of DAOs. Our Lite plan is available at no cost, while our Plus plan provides users with amazing features for a nominal fee of 100 $XDAO tokens per month. Additionally, we are currently developing a Business plan specifically designed to cater to syndicate and investment DAOs, which is set to be released soon.
Moreover, we are pleased to announce the successful launch of our $XDAO token on the BNB Chain via Uniswap. This development enables users to leverage the benefits of V3 on the BNB Chain, opening up new opportunities and accessibility.
XDAO events
We are delighted to conclude the Feb-April XDAO sprint on Zealy and extend our congratulations to the top 100 performers who have been rewarded with $XDAO tokens. We would also like to express our gratitude to all participants for their dedication and hard work, as their contributions were instrumental in the success of the sprint. The list of winners can be found in the provided Google Sheets link.
For those who may have missed out, we are thrilled to announce the return of the Zealy Sprint for XDAO, now in its third phase. All XDAOists are invited to participate. This thrilling competition offers participants the opportunity to claim XP and compete for a spot in the top 100 players. The top performers will be rewarded with $XDAO tokens as a recognition of their support and enthusiasm for XDAO family.
The sprint has already commenced and will continue until July, offering participants ample time to complete tasks and ascend the leaderboard. We strongly encourage everyone to seize this thrilling opportunity and participate in the sprint!
On the side note, extract of Polina’s speech was posted by Oasis network about DAO’s potential to empower user and evolve governance processes across industries. The AMA discussion was held about Privacy Layers and security in DAO’s.
Last but not least, we hosted an AMA session with out friends from Blockchain Testament. AMA’s are always an opportunity to earn prizes and ask questions directly. It’s an effective and fun way to communicate and to learn more about different Web3 projects.
Community events
We recently hosted a bug bounty hunt for XDAO V3, featuring a prize pool of 10,000 $XDAO tokens. The bug bounty program was open to everyone, inviting participants to explore the beta version of XDAO V3 and report any potential bugs or security vulnerabilities. We are immensely grateful to our community for their ongoing support, and as a gesture of appreciation, we consistently give back through such initiatives.
We have been officially validated by Magic Square! Our team’s hard work and dedication have led to a tremendous achievement, and we take immense pride in it.
Lastly, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you. Together, we have achieved a significant milestone of surpassing 25,000 DAO creations, and this accomplishment would not have been possible without your unwavering support.
